As a GIS Analyst, you will be working within various projects and interfacing all disciplines of land planning. You will be supporting our planning teams by providing base mapping, GIS analysis, CAD integration, data research, project statistics and high-level presentation graphics and documentation. Projects will require excellent data management and multi-tasking skills to respond to a given schedule and budget. Those with exemplary applied GIS skills specifically in land planning may be hired as a Senior GIS Analyst.

[Knowledge Of:]
- GIS methodologies and analytical processes.
- Urban Planning principles.
- Real Estate development and entitlement processes.
- Other support software including but not limited to AutoDesk – AutoCAD, LandDesktop, Civil 3D, Adobe – Illustrator, Photoshop, MicroSoft Office Suite, Relational Databases – Access.
[Requirements - Applied understanding and demonstrated ability to work within the following]
ESRI Suite.
- ArcGIS ArcMap – Layout, Scale, Plotting.
- ArcCatalog – GeoDatabase Management Process.
- ArcTools – Workflow Tools & Analysis.
- ArcInfo Workstation – Coverages (Building/Cleaning).
- Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst.
- ArcGlobe and ArcScene.
AutoDesk Suite.
- AutoCAD DXF/DWG - GIS Integration & Processing.
- Overall capability of creating and editing data in CAD or GIS.

[Education]
- Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in geography, planning related field of studies.
[Experience]
- Minimum of 2-4 years in a similar expanding role with a planning and design firm or related field.
